Description

The Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor is seeking to hire a Bureau Coordinator which is a key administrative role responsible for providing clerical and operational support to the office. This position plays a pivotal role in managing court-related cases, ensuring smooth administrative operations, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation. The coordinator will work closely with various team members to prepare court calendars, data entry, process lab requests, and ensure the effective management of case files. A focus on accuracy and professionalism, especially when dealing with case management tasks, telephone communications is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the office, data entry and document management
  • Coordinate and manage court-related cases, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and available for court appearances.
  • Case information data entry/updates, always maintaining data quality and integrity.
  • Prepare and manage court calendars, ensuring timely scheduling, communication, and coordination of cases.
  • Process lab requests in a timely manner, manage all required information and documentation.
  • Manage and track cases before, during, and after court appearances, ensuring seamless transitions through all stages of the process.
  • Professionally handle incoming telephone communications, assisting attorneys, and other parties with inquiries and information requests.
  • Collaborate with various departments and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of case-related information.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable legal, procedural, and confidentiality standards.
  • Other duties will be assigned by the supervisor as needed.
Educational Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required, along with 2–3 years of related clerical and data entry experience within the legal field.
